System Analyst for Siebel

Our Client has an urgent requirement to hire an experience System Analyst with strong technical knowledge of Siebel applications. This is a 12 months contract opportunity with high possibility of extension or conversion to permanent.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

� Delivers application enhancement projects by coordinating with other IT teams as well as external parties to provide a seamless integration of IT solutions to meet business requirements in the agreed timeframe.

� Develops technical design specifications by translating user requirements to an IT solution and facilitates the project implementation.

� Consults with business users in a particular business function to determine business issues and problems

� Delivers technical solution to resolve unexpected system outages within the defined SLA period and minimizing impact to business operations.

� Motivates team members to deliver high quality application and system support to alleviate any disruption in operations. Ensure comprehensive testing is performed on software patches so as to achieve a zero-defect implementation.

� Capable of performing hands-on application development.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Qualifications :

� Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline from a recognized University.

Technical Skills :

� Strong in CRM (Siebel)

� Strong in programming languages (PL/SQL), operating systems (Unix, window NT, NT server) and UNIX shell scripting, RDBMS (Oracle).

� Familiarity with Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) and have undergone at least one complete lifecycle of a medium- to large-scale application development project involving vendors, in-house IT teams and business users.

Experience :

� At least 3 years relevant working experience in software and application development that requires analysis and design work.

� At least 3 years of working experience with Siebel.

- Exposure in Siebel overall architecture & understanding of Siebel server components.

- Must have strong technical hands-on knowledge of Siebel Application, Tool and scripting

- Strong troubleshooting skills in various Siebel technical areas and experience with solving performance issue.

� At least 3 years of working experience with Oracle including Oracle 10g.

� At least 3 years of working experience with Unix and PL/SQL .

� IT experience in the Telecommunications/Infocomm industry will be advantages.
